Then some playmates joined her...

And back down...

There is beer drinkage underway here...

A top day out with stunning weather and mucho thanks to the personnel of RAF Brize Norton for the hospitality, particularly Kev the "talking signpost", Matt the lorry driver and the ATC crew.

Cracking shots Damien.

Rather disappointed by the lack of smoke from the VC10 on the starboard wing. Poor show! Smile The three ship looks pretty good from those - not bad considering the captains were working from references worked out last night!

Only a small carbon foot print then ?

It will be a real shame the day they retire the VC10, maybe we should start applying to the Lottery Commission now for a grant ?

Great shots Damien, well done indeed.
Is the Vulcans flying future a bit more certain now for the next year or two?

We have been invited to a wedding in the UK next year and are just deciding weather we should go and if we could tie it in with an airshow where the Vulcan will display it would be another reason to go.

I don't think anybody can predict that far ahead Gavin. Money's always going to be an issue.

Some more pics from Brize, of the other stuff!

Oops how that did get in here...

Very nice Damien. I love the Chinook topside shot especially.
